Have had a hectic few days at work. It is wierd being back, but it has been so lovley to catch up with everyone. Hadn't realised how much i had missed it all until i went back. Looking through the brochures is making me want to work overseas again. Have so many good memorys, but also some not so good ones, so i'll be staying put for a while.

If only

This is a layout i did yesterday, yes i did find time to sit and scrap and no i haven't finished unpacking yet, that is a job for tomorrow. Papers and chipboard are from Scenic Route (i love that their paper is double sided) also finally managed to use my white Sharpie pen. That is me in the middle with {shock horror} straight hair! This picture was taken back in the day when i used to strut my stuff on the dance floor every weekend and frequently straightened my hair, now i actually quite like my curls, and it's too short to straighten anyway. A lot of life stuff has happened to us three since then.

I have been a bit of a lucky jammy dodger this week and have been offered my old job back. They told me to think about it over the weekend but i've pretty much made my mind up. Can't resist the travel opportunities. . .

My other big news it that i, yes me, have tickets to see Keane in October!! You have no idea how excited i am as i have loved them since day 1. So i can't wait!

Freakin Out!!!!

i've been writing out job applications, sending out CV's and ringing up agencies ALL day long and it SUCKS!! But the reason i am FREAKING OUT is because i have so much damn stuff! I've been doing more unpacking tonight and i have so much scrapbooking stuff it's unreal. i dread to think how much i've spent on it. The most depressing thing is i'm probably not going to get to use much of it in the near future because i have so much to do and all i want to do is create so i can express how i'm feeling at the moment, cos that always makes me feel better. Plus i don't really have much space to scrap in. Mum has bought a glass dining table since i moved out last so there is no real space to scrap on. She has kindly said i can use a bit of space in the utility room, but there will be no room to spread. Looks like i will be attending lots of crops in the future...

Methinks i am going to have a nice bath and use up the scrummy Lush products that my work chums bought me as a leaving present last week. i needs to de-stress. i am tres looking forward to Big Bro tonight it's gonna be a goodun.

Crystal Ball

Oh Crystal Ball, Crystal Ball. Save us all, tell me life is beautiful.

(Loving the new Keane album) Somehow they always seem to put into words how i am feeling. Crystal Ball is particularly fitting to my life right now, seeing as i don't know what the heck is going to happen to me from now on. Which is good and bad. Today i'm busy unpacking and job hunting. Which sucks.

Packing

i'm bored of it already and i've hardly done any. i'm also bored of having to dodge the boxes everytime i want to move. i'm sure if i had somone else here to motivate me i'd be ok, but i don't. And it's too hot to do anything! moan over.

Race for Life

So i was in Portsmouth this weekend and the weather was beautiful (i've got the sunburn to prove it) i've sorted out my room (kind of) and i'm really excited about moving back home. today i handed my notice in at work and my last day is the 16th so i will be moving in less then 2 weeks! On Sunday i did the race for life, i've never seen so much pink in one place! i was not prepared for how emotional it would be and i could not stop myself from shedding more than a few tears as we crossed the start line. If you have not taken part before then i urge you to do it, it is a really fun day and it's for such a good cause. Smelly boys are not allowed to do the race, but they can volunteer to help out, so everyone can take part in one way or another. Cancer is such a horrible horrible nasty disease and some times i get so angry because so many good people are affected by it. But on a happier note, i raised £81 and am aiming to raise at least £100 next year.

Good post day

Yesterday was such a good post day! i picked up my new Mimi Impression Urban Stamp Tote.
Follow the link if you want to see how cool it is inside. It is so Scrummy Yummy, i am so pleased i order it as it is totally going to serve a purpose now that i am going to be moving back to mum's. i also got my Amazon order which included Cathy Z's first book and Claudine Hellmuth's collage book. In the post i also got the Tim Holtz DVD, which i cannot wait to see! And a headscarf from my sister. Heading to Portsmouth tomorrow and i've got the Race for Life on Sunday. So far I've raised nearly 60 quid, which is kewle, hope to raise a bit more over the weekend. Wish me luck :)
