First layout of 2015

i made my first layout of the year on the 2nd of January. i'm up to a total of 7 now, but i worked on my 2013 Project Life album all this week (no, that isn't a typo) and that is almost done. It will be the first PL album i've actually finished, which is why there was no 2014 album, and there won't be one this year either. Anyway, on to the layout.

Everything on the page is from the Heidi Swapp Mixed Company paper pad except the doily, 2 stamps and that tiny bit of washi. That's probably why i was able to put the layout together so quickly. Love when that happens.

The story is about my birthday last year, i went to Windsor for the day with my sister & a friend. Windsor is utterly charming and well worth a visit if you're in the area. Whilst we were at the castle, we passed a craft activity room for kids, my friend joked about us going in and making something. But me being me thought this was actually a good idea, and so we made a birthday crown which i then proceeded to wear around the castle. Surprisingly, i didn't get any odd looks. i guess it's the norm to wear crowns in royal residences!

I think a birthday crown would be mandatory at Windsor. Love the LO.😊
