February Simple Scrapper Layouts

As you've probably guessed by now, the sketches are my most favourite thing about the Simple Scrapper premium membership. This month i used 2 of them. This first layout is about my trip to Washington D.C. in the autumn and the moment i got to stand in the same spot that Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his 'I have a dream' speech. *Spoiler Alert* This was a really special moment for me to experience & one that will stay in my heart forever.

Here's a detail shot of my title. Not every layout needs a big title, or even a title at all. i really wanted my photos to be the main focus on this page. The stamp i used is from Kellie Stamps. i have quite a few sets from her and use them regularly. They are just so versatile. i was really gutted when she decided to go digital only last year as i really prefer clear stamps.

On instagram i sneaked this peek below and declared that 'Copper is the new gold!'. i actually haven't seen too much of it in the new releases from CHA, which is a real shame. i was hoping to see more of it this year.

Next up, a layout about my mermaid hair. It's no longer this colour unfortunately, but it was a blue/green for a good few months last summer and i loved it a lot. Looking at this photo makes me want to dye it a crazy colour again. But as it says in my journaling, it's very hard to maintain! You Only Live Once is definitely a mantra of mine. i probably use it to justify too many things!

My obsession with word stamps and stickers to help tell my story continues into 2016. The ones i used here are from Simple Stories.

These alpha stamps from Elles Studio have become a firm favourite. There are 3 different sets that you can mix and match to create a myriad of different looks. Love how they add a little fun to the page.
