Days of magic...

Well i've had one of the most amazing weekends evvvver! On friday we travelled up to London via the Greyhound. Would totally recommend it, it's super comfy and cheap! We went to the British Music Experience at the O2 arena. i don't think it's on too much longer if you want to catch it. We ate at one of the restaurants and managed to get some free tickets! For a music geek like me, it was really interesting, there's lots of costumes & memorabilia & interactive stuff. i attempted to learn the drums, it's much harder then it looks! i have a new found respect for drummers now.

Then we headed to Wembly to see White Lies, Girls Aloud, Jay-Z & Coldplay. i've been wanting to see Coldplay live forever. i even have a dvd of their tour in 2003. It was one of the most amazing experiences, one that i will never forget. i've got a few photos, but they aren't that great so i stole one from the band's photoblog here.

On Saturday we headed back to Portsmouth for Southsea Fest. It was a gorgeous day filled with lots of great local bands. i think The B of the Bang were my new favourite find.

Ok so now i've done one of the experiences i've been dreaming of for years i need something else to look forward to. Just as well Universal just announced that The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is going to be opening next spring! And they're gonna be selling butterbeer! i am sooooo excited!
